On the day
Starting with a briefing and safety check, you'll move on to an urban ride through varying traffic flows, stopping from time to time for assessment and advice.
Ensure you wear adequate clothing, with all skin covered. Bring a pen and paper, make sure your machine is warranted, registered and roadworthy. Arrive with a full tank.
Bronze
What you'll get out of it
A sound understanding of road positioning: to better see and be seen, and its importance in cornering. Improved skills in low-speed manoeuvring and braking. Understanding the right speed and gear for any riding situation.
On the day
After a thorough briefing and safety check you'll head out onto a mix of urban and rural roads, including some higher speed sections. Practicing skills may take place off-highway with several stops for assessment, including a lunch break at a café.

Silver
What you'll get out of it
Key vision skills like vanishing points and looking through corners. Improved ability to identify and avoid hazards. Better understanding of the bike's capabilities including tyre grip. How to enter, apex and exit precisely, and use bodyweight for stability.
On the day
The day begins with a briefing and safety check then moves onto a mix of urban and rural roads. Some roads will be more challenging with higher speed sections. Practicing skills may take place off-highway with several stops for assessment, including a lunch break.

Gold
What you'll get out of it
The flexibility of the Gold course means the outcomes will relate to your needs. Typical areas of focus include riding in groups, riding with a pillion, counter steering, trail braking and advanced cornering.
On the day
After briefing and safety check you'll ride to an area selected by your instructor to suit the programme and skills you want to focus on. The day is made up of a series of modules with several stops for assessment, including a lunch break.
