A new motorcycle safety strategy has been announced. Its aim is to lower the number of motorcycle crashes and improve rider safety by working to prevent crashes.
The strategy was welcomed by Acting ACC Minister Nathan Guy, who said "ACC sees first-hand the impact of motorcycle crashes, so this is about stepping up work to prevent crashes from happening in the first place.”
The strategy is a joint initiative between ACC and the Motorcycle Safety Advisory Council (MSAC). It will mean ACC extending current injury prevention initiatives and introducing new ones as part of the strategy.
